I wish everyday was like that

Spent a little quality time chillaxing at Great World City's Coffee Bean in the early afternoon. You don't find many suburban malls this uncrowded on a weekend afternoon, perhaps even more rare to have a Coffee Bean outlet not colonized by students during this exam period. I think I have found the right place for book-reading.

The better part of the afternoon was spent following the Aware EGM online. I must say the power of social media is really amazing. While the meeting was in progress, netizen sites like this and this were updated with blow-by-blow accounts of all the action in there. Even Twitter was so hot with Aware-related posts that it became the top trending topic for those few hours. Anyway, it still befuddles me how people so accomplished in their careers could have put up such a big clown show. But more importantly, this whole saga is finally over and I'm glad that it's a fairy tale ending.

At night, I hit 16km for the first time since I started training for the marathon. The weather was on my side because the rain came just after I had completed it and reached home. Now, the rain has stopped and there's cool wind wafting in. So I'm going to post this after this last sentence, go to bed and hope tomorrow will be another good day.

About Me

byponders is no longer in his early twenties, but still spends too much time pondering the imponderables and enjoys an occasional dose of arty goodness. He looks forward to having his own library, Bloomberg machine and walk-in Heineken fridge one day.
