I seldom have good things to say about Boon Lay but these days, I'm really thankful for the new Pioneer MRT Station. Now, I can go home from campus safely and in bliss without interacting with the Boon Lay interchange mob or having to evade the crosshair of flyer distributors/insurance vultures. On a more quantitative note, travel time is shortened by approximately 10 minutes (7 minutes on the bus and 3 minutes on the train that used to park at Boon Lay waiting to depart). So a shorter and more pleasurable homeward-bound journey it has become. Now if only the same can be done in the opposite direction, the world will definitely become a happier place to live in. 179B from Pioneer to NTU, anyone?

About Me

byponders is no longer in his early twenties, but still spends too much time pondering the imponderables and enjoys an occasional dose of arty goodness. He looks forward to having his own library, Bloomberg machine and walk-in Heineken fridge one day.
