The problem with electives is that they are SU-able. I was ploughing through the Astronomy textbook today and those two alphabets kept flashing in my mind. Very distracting. I pressed on, but whenever I got to the uninspiring Physics part of it I became disheartened and I felt most emphatically like throwing in the towel.

But to give up just like that is so not cool because it means surrendering without a fight and it's against my principles. Besides, Physics surely can't be my nemesis, given my erstwhile profession as a Science student? And surprise surprise, I even took Physics 'S' Paper, even though how I did not get 'Ungraded' for it in the end remains one of life's unsolved mysteries.

So I'm not going to hoist the white flag, yet. Not at least until I'm done with one of the tests and decide if I'm really hopeless.

Oh and I was wrong about him. "没有地球太阳还是会绕" is true after all - the Sun orbits the Milky Way Galaxy! And that's about the most enlightening takeaway from this course so far.
