When was the last time you fell ill and asked for an MC from the doctor, so that you can just get drugged and spend the day in deep slumber without a care about what's going on in the world out there? I wish I can do that right now. But no, I have to grudgingly say no to MC because I cannot afford to miss classes. I can't sleep away the entire day because there is always work and work is always there. Even on weekends, I have to use whatever is left of my voice talking Math to my tutee for upwards of three hours. Sigh. I really miss those days when falling sick means no school and watching cartoons at home. I wouldn't even mind the part where I was forced to drink the dubious-looking herbal soup that mum concocted. Things were simple then.

Please let me get well soon. This is probably the hundredth time that I am sick this year, and I am really very pissed.

About Me

byponders is no longer in his early twenties, but still spends too much time pondering the imponderables and enjoys an occasional dose of arty goodness. He looks forward to having his own library, Bloomberg machine and walk-in Heineken fridge one day.
