It's recess week so I'm having a short reprieve from schooling and all the yucky things that follow. Once again, my life has returned to its restful state where I find peace in doing things at my own leisurely pace. It's not so different from life before school started, when I could rise at noon, putter about, watch the 5pm 娱百, MSN and other trivial things later, realise to my surprise that it's time to sleep again. It's being a 宅男 all over again, except that now, there is this nagging sense of guilt that there is work to be done. Projects and presentations refuse to go away, and there are books and notes clamouring to be read. Recess is so not a holiday, because holiday means gallivanting in Shanghai. It means basking in the Perhentian sun. But now, there are mountains of work standing between me and them.

About Me

byponders is no longer in his early twenties, but still spends too much time pondering the imponderables and enjoys an occasional dose of arty goodness. He looks forward to having his own library, Bloomberg machine and walk-in Heineken fridge one day.
