So it's about 2 hours to take-off now and here I am, blogging from Terminal 1, in between surfing pages on virtualtourist.com in a desperate attempt to glean bits of info on what I will be expecting 7 hours from now. Yes, I still am very unprepared about everything. The insecurity is a thrill in itself but I feel guilty that had I done more homework, I could be making use of my time there more optimally. But I guess time wasn't on my side.

The weather forecast says it will be storming in Shanghai over the next few days. Doesn't augur very well for the trip but I guess so long as it's not anything of typhoon proportions, it's fine by me. At least it should help cool the weather a little, seeing that it's currently Shanghai's warmest month of the year. Besides, I've got a windbreaker and even an umbrella ready in my luggage (yeah so unglam), among other mom-decreed items, so I have nothing to fear.

Ok this shall be the concluding paragraph. I will be blogging over the next few days (assuming blogger doesn't fail me over there) so stay tuned!

About Me

byponders is no longer in his early twenties, but still spends too much time pondering the imponderables and enjoys an occasional dose of arty goodness. He looks forward to having his own library, Bloomberg machine and walk-in Heineken fridge one day.
