In a day's time I will be off to Shanghai. This has got to be my most spontaneous overseas trip ever as the decision was only made last Friday and air tickets bought the following day. Having said that, it's also going to be the most ill-prepared one and I don't even have a travel objective yet. For now, I guess it's part working in my sister's shop and part sightseeing hoping I won't get lost or cheated. It's not my first time there but I'm going all alone this time and it's cool because I have always been plotting to fly away on my own. The birthday trip to Taipei didn't materialise because I couldn't get tickets in time, and I once thought of doing those bohemian backpacking thing in Vietnam but that was to remain as a thought. Anyway, I will be back on 23rd and possibly leaving for a more blissful place one day later. Meanwhile, you will still see me online and I really hope blogger isn't being blocked there!

Alright later now. Have so much travel info to cram into my head over the remaining 24hours!

About Me

byponders is no longer in his early twenties, but still spends too much time pondering the imponderables and enjoys an occasional dose of arty goodness. He looks forward to having his own library, Bloomberg machine and walk-in Heineken fridge one day.
