I really don't know who else but me took two-and-a-half years after his 'A'-levels to finally settle on a university and course. But I have chosen anyway.

So NUS has been really nice, inviting me to a business networking luncheon cum tea session a week ago, writing long persuasive emails to us on a DAILY basis - and the letters are nothing less than sincere and honest, none of the computer-generated-mass-mail rubbish - while offering me a study award (not as much money as a scholarship but money nonetheless). Even the entire admission package has been mailed to me. In stark contrast, NTU is totally nonchalant. I have heard naught from them except some rude SMS reminding me that I have not indicated a choice on the joint acceptance website. And all in their mail me are a one-page letter of offer along with some random flyers you last saw at the open house and dumped into the recycle bin.

So I went to the website, logged on, made the choice and solemnly clicked on the submit button. That click of the mouse was to send me to NTU Accountancy for the next three years. Oh I must be crazy.

About Me

byponders is no longer in his early twenties, but still spends too much time pondering the imponderables and enjoys an occasional dose of arty goodness. He looks forward to having his own library, Bloomberg machine and walk-in Heineken fridge one day.
