I left the corporate world last Friday and my life has taken a drastic turn for the better since. No longer do I have to rush to catch the morning bus to work, do uninspiring admin work, lunch at Seah Im hawker centre and skip dinner for tuitions. I still go for tuitions regularly now, but there is plenty of free time in between for me to get miscellaneous items sorted out and restore some semblance of order into my life. Life is good!

Like today, I rose early and went over to a friend's house for breakfast. The three of us had nutritious homemade breakfast, none of the msg-laden hawker fare that is my definition of breakfast. In the afternoon we were served with pizza which was also homemade goodness. After bumming time and doing pretty mindless things, dinner was at Chomp Chomp. There were bbq stingray, satays, oyster omelet and other Chomp Chomp-ish food. We then chilled out at Cafe Cartel and shared a half-priced-after-nine cake for dessert, making good conversations and just laughing ourselves silly over the ditziest of things. And doing all these without worries about any commitment the next day, it really feels like holiday all over again!

Everyone should just quit their job now.

About Me
