As with most other earphones I've used before, the one which came with my Creative mp3 player didn't last long. When the sounds coming from it started alternating between 'stereo' and 'right channel' last week, I knew its time was up. But I continued to use it, because I just had to randomly twist and turn the connection to certain angle and hold it there and I will get stereo. But holding it there at that magical angle is easier said than done, and I figured that the pain of doing so outstripped the pleasure derived from the songs, which is already quite low seeing as they are half-stereo half not, so I gave up and decided to get a new one.

Two days without music and several unavailing trips to relevant shops near my workplace later, I finally found this

at the same shop in Bukit Merah Central I bought the blue one from four years ago. For the record, the blue AIWA air fit served me well for more than a year before it went missing! And the funny thing is, the shop owner actually recognised me. "So you have started working already! Last time I saw you, you were in school uniform." I was there after work in office attire you see. In my defence, I quickly replied that I am going back to school in a few months. I hate to be associated with the working population. But I digress.
