For the first time in weeks I stepped out of the office building to be greeted by a bright sunshiny piece of sky. The trees were smiling and clouds no longer crying, and I thought, what a beaut!

Although there is a part of me that misses the gale force winds and outdoor air-conditioning, winter this time round has been a bit too wet, and I thought it would be nice to be able to enjoy some outdoor activities for a change. I want to try Kayaking! Or beach volleyball. Or tennis. And yes, resume my running regimen. If there is anything from NS that I miss, it has to be the part where I feel the most exercised. Those were the days when I could do a 12km at East Coast Park and wouldn't mind running more. Sigh, it's sad how my fitness has plunged from that peak. And I totally cannot imagine having to take IPPT three months from now.

So finally, the weather looks reassuring enough today. I've changed into my running attire, ready to fight the office slob in me. Let's hope it will not cost me an arm or a leg.
